National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city intimation slip for the UGC NET December session examination on 24 December 2024. Candidates who have applied for this exam can now download their city intimation slip from the official website of NTA at ugcnet.nta.ac.in to get information about their exam center and city. >
City Intimation Slip provides the candidates with the details of the city and center of the examination, but it is not the admit card. Candidates should note that it only provides information about the examination center and city, whereas the admit card for appearing in the examination will be issued later.
Exam Dates and Timings
UGC NET December 2024 exam will be conducted by NTA from January 3 to January 16, 2025. This examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers across the country. The examination will be conducted in two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM till o’clock
This examination will be conducted in 85 different subjects and through it selection will be made for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor. Apart from this, admission to PhD programs will also be possible through this examination.

How to download city intimation slip
- First of all candidates should You have to visit the official website of NTA or UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the Exam City Information Slip link on the homepage.
- Now enter your login credentials (application number and date of birth).
- After this, your city slip will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a print out of it for future reference.
